This is bladeRF-adsb FPGA based ADS-B receiver connected to a Raspberry Pi 3.
The receiver antenna is a stacked 5/8 λ antenna specified for 6dBb gain, it is poorly sited but provides good coverage to the East.
A custom SAW filtered LNA is located approx 10 cm from the antenna and provides approx 3 dB NF with 50 dB gain. A second SAW filter is installed inside the receiver box to remove any interference coupled through the cable.
It is MLAT capable, using a local stratum 1 NTP server running off a set of Lucent RFTG-u receivers.
Typical range is around 80 nm, the map provides 25, 50, and 100 nm circles relative to the station location.
